Watami US Corp. is the U.S. headquarters of Watami Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese food enterprise based in Tokyo. with global operations spanning restaurants, food manufacturing, meal services, farming, and environmental solutions.

Watami entered the U.S. market in 2024 with the establishment of its Las Vegas headquarters, focusing on manufacturing and grab-and-go concepts. 

In 2026, Watami opened its first U.S. restaurant, Hayama by Watami in Los Angeles, created in collaboration with Bar Hayama to deliver premium Japanese dining experiences. 

Also in 2026, Watami acquired a majority stake in San Francisco-based Onigilly Japanese Kitchen, with plans to expand Onigilly’s footprint across the United States over the next decade.
